The Lone Ranger is an upcoming 2013 American action adventure western comedy film produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer Films and directed by Gore Verbinski, based on the American Old West character serials of the same name. The film stars Armie Hammer in the title role and Johnny Depp as Tonto. It is set to release July 3, 2013.

The Expendables II
The Expendables 2 is a 2012 American ensemble action film directed by Simon West and written by Richard Wenk and Sylvester Stallone, based on a story by Ken Kaufman, David Agosto and Wenk. It is a sequel to the 2010 action film The Expendables, and stars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Norris, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, Liam Hemsworth, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Bruce Willis, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. The film follows the mercenary group The Expendables as they undertake a seemingly simple mission that evolves into a quest for revenge against Jean Vilain, a rival mercenary who has murdered one of their own, and who threatens the world with a deadly weapon.

Principal photography took place over 14 weeks beginning in September 2011 on an estimated $100 million budget, with filming occurring in Bulgaria, Hong Kong and New Orleans. Controversy arose over environmental damage caused during filming in Bulgaria, and the accidental death of a stuntman. Brian Tyler returned to score the film.

The film was released across Europe on August 16, 2012, followed by a North American release on August 17. As of September 5, 2012 it has grossed over $170 million worldwide. Critics generally considered the film an improvement over the original film, citing more use of humor and action scenes as positives, though the plot and character dialogue were negatively received. A tie-in downloadable video game was released on July 31, 2012, that served as a prequel to the events of the film.

X- MEN FIRST CLASS






X-Men: First Class is a 2011 American superhero film directed by Matthew Vaughn. Based on the characters appearing in Marvel Comics, it is a prequel to the X-Men film series. X-Men: First Class was released June 1, 2011 in the UK and on June 3 in the US.
The film is set primarily in 1962 during the Cuban Missile Crisis and focuses on the relationship between Professor X and Magneto and the origin of their groups, the X-Men and the Brotherhood of Mutants. The film stars James McAvoy as Professor X and Michael Fassbender as Magneto. Other cast members include Kevin Bacon, January Jones, Rose Byrne, Jennifer Lawrence, Zoë Kravitz, Nicholas Hoult and Lucas Till. The film was mostly shot in England and parts of the United States.

X-Men: First Class, which opened on approximately 6,900 screens at 3,641 locations, earned $55.1 million on its opening weekend and also debuted at #1 at the American and Canadian box office, including $3.37 million at its Friday midnight launch.This opening was much lower than the opening weekends of X-Men: The Last Stand ($102.7 million), X2: X-Men United ($85.5 million), and X-Men Origins: Wolverine ($85.0 million), but it was slightly higher than the original film ($54.5 million). Executives at 20th Century Fox said they acheived their goal by opening with about the same numbers as the first X-Men film and that it was an excellent start to a new chapter of the franchise. The film also brought in $61 million at foreign box offices during its opening weekend. In its second weekend X-Men: First Class dropped 54.6%, the second smallest second weekend drop in the franchise behind X-2: X-Men United (53.2%), and came in with an estimated $25.0 million, in second place to Super 8.
As of June 12, 2011 the film has grossed an estimated $98,894,000 in the United States and Canada as well as $74,586,046 internationally, bringing its worldwide total to $173,480,046.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is a 2011 American adventure fantasy film and the fourth installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean series. In the film, Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) is joined by Angelica (Penélope Cruz) in his search for the Fountain of Youth, confronting the infamous pirate Blackbeard (Ian McShane) The plot draws inspiration from the novel On Stranger Tides by Tim Powers, which also inspired the LucasArts game The Secret of Monkey Island. It is directed by Rob Marshall, written by Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio, and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.
The movie was distributed by Walt Disney Pictures and was released in the United Kingdom and Italy on May 18, 2011, in Australia on May 19, 2011, and in the United States and Canada on May 20, 2011The release was presented in Disney Digital 3-D and IMAX 3D, as well as in traditional two-dimensional and IMAX formats. The film was first announced in 2008 and principal photography started in June 2010. The release was the first in the series to be directed by Rob Marshall and not Gore Verbinski.It was also the first movie in the series which featured fictional versions of historical characters such as Blackbeard, George II of Great Britain, Henry Pelham, John Carteret and Ferdinand VI of Spain. It was the first Pirates of the Caribbean film to be released in 3D and Jerry Bruckheimer's second 3D film, following the 2009 movie G-Force. It was also the fifth Disney film to use Dolby 7.1 surround sound. While previous films in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise have been filmed in the Caribbean Sea, On Stranger Tides was filmed mainly in Hawaii.
